When We Are Closed

Call 999 in an emergency - Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency!

All West Lancashire patients are now requested to ring 111 (a free to call number) when you require medical assistance out of hours when the surgery is closed.

NHS111 will triage your call and, if they feel it necessary, they will despatch your call to West Lancashire Out of Hours Service for a duty doctor to ring you back.

NHS111 are able to give advice directly for certain conditions and are also able to ring 999 for an ambulance if they feel that your call is an emergency.
